Here’s an example of what you’ll learn:

  • Describe the classic signs and symptoms of toxic exposure and body burden as they present in the average patient.
  • Be able to categorize the most likely classes of toxicants for the patient, based upon the patient’s signs, symptoms and diagnoses
  • List the most common sources of environmental toxicant exposures for the U.S. population
  • Be able to search through specific geographic databases to see whether patients have current pollutant exposure or have been exposed in
    the past.
  • How to order lab work to document exposure and body burden in your patients.
  • To assist the patient in understanding how and where their toxicant exposure originated.
  • Identify any genetic polymorphisms that may have contributed to the patient’s body
    burden
  • Devise a list of action steps for the patient that is necessary for their treatment and to avoid further exposures
  • Devise a list of dietary changes and supplementation strategies that would be most effective for the patient.

” As Spirit Med alumni, I am beyond thrilled to be presented with the extraordinary opportunity to engage, continue to learn and evolve along with the rest of our highly dedicated community of EM professionals who understand the fundamental importance of the work ahead in our mission critical commitment to carry the torch forward beyond the place where our dearly beloved Dr. Walter Crinnion so deeply and profoundly touched and impressed our individual and collective lives. His generous soul and brilliant mind live on through our steadfast dedication to his legacy of ongoing world class education and training of healthcare professionals in the field of Environmental Medicine.”

Dr. Elizabeth H. Sims-Day, Naturopathic Physician

“I have known both Dr Patrick and Dr Fine for many years and their knowledge of the impact of environmental pollution and of the health effects of the ubiquitous toxins and toxicants we are all exposed to … is vast.

Although I have personally studied environmental medicine for several years, whenever I hear one of their lectures I am always amazed at the new knowledge I obtain.

Anyone desirous of acquiring a broad knowledge of environmental medicine, including practical approaches to assist patients to optimize their health, is guaranteed to be pleased with their new educational program..”

“With the loss of Dr. Walter Crinnion, I cannot think of any better two doctors to try to fill his shoes other than Dr. Lyn Patrick and Dr. Anne Marie Fine. They have been by his side for 30+ years, dedicating their lives to the same cause, passion for teaching, and trying to make a difference in the world. During my early years of study with Dr. Crinnion, I always felt that Drs. Patrick and Fine provided me with the same level of education and clinical wisdom. Many of you who know me, will know that this course was the game changer for my clinical practice. It provided me with not only the foundational knowledge of clinical environmental medicine, but also provided a deep dive into the details that have really helped me identify the root cause of so many of my complicated clinical cases, and changed my practice forever.

As it turned out, this ended up being the missing education that I feel every ND and MD should have had in school, since so many of our patients are exposed to significant levels of everyday toxins and toxicants. This finally solved the mystery as to why they were still sick after so many years of seeing multiple doctors and trying different treatments. We were finally able to get down to the true root cause and get them moving in the right direction.”

Dr. Aviad Elgez, ND

“After taking Walter Crinnion’s Environmental Medicine Course, I was skeptical of who could carry on his legacy with the same passion and vigor when teaching such critical subject matter. Lyn Patrick, ND, and Anne Marie Fine, ND, FAAEM, have proven to be the worthy bearers of teaching environmental medicine with their new training program, Environmental Medicine Education International (EMEI). Along with their extensive knowledge base and clinical expertise, Drs. Patrick and Fine bring a level of enthusiasm that elevates the teaching platform in a captivating way. I highly recommend EMEI to any practitioner wanting to advance their clinical skills and sharpen their insights into this quickly changing landscape. .”
